a-void.ca is a site for DJ sets and commentary by deemo, founded in 2010 and covering electronic and experimental music with a global outlook.
deemo is david morris (toronto/london/hong kong journalist). i have been a dj for many years in venues across toronto, from the royal ontario museum to the drake hotel. i was previously music editor for eye weekly (rip), wrote about music for the globe and mail, toronto life, vice and others and am a former member of the london-based bands bad wives and slabs.
